A narrow gauge tourist railway run by volunteers with spectacular views of the whole of the Upper Goulburn Valley set in the foothills of the Tallarook Ranges approximately one hour north of Melbourne.
Trains will run @ 11, 12, 1, 2 & 3pm each day. Return train journey to 'Summit Station' 35 minutes. Each train journey will be followed by a demonstration of the steam engines in the museum, there is also workshop where 'Douglas' the steam locomotive is coming to life. Ticket prices include train journey, demo, workshop and loco shed tour.
We shall be offering a gourmet sausage/bread/drink package for $7. This event can get very busy, so I suggest to book. Phone me Jennifer 0407823739 or check website for more details. You will find our brown tourist signs halfway between Seymour and Yea on the Goulburn Valley Highway.
Sorry no eftpos facilities and no picnics in the venue our on the property. Phone me if you want to do other things in our lovely area or need recommendations regarding picnic or eating places nearby. Yea has 4 pubs, 2 bakeries and 16 cafes!
