Exploring the life work of Lady Day, Jackie will perform songs of love, sorrow, joy and protest from Billie Holiday's iconic recordings; moving, swinging and whimsical tunes composed by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, by Billie herself and more.
Featuring the rich vocals of Jackie Bornstein, the soulfully swinging Anton Delecca on saxophone, world class pianist Mark Fitzgibbon, bass player extraordinaire Philip Rex, and in-demand drummer Ryan Menezes.

Jackie was recently awarded a City of Melbourne Arts Grant for her project ‘Women in Jazz: An Invitation to Freedom’ which has seen her release an album in December 2022 and develop a book on Australian female improvising artists.
