Once the debacle of trying to get a throng of fashionistas into a football length of bleachers was over, we could finally settle into yet another inspiring collection from mainstayers Bec + Bridge.
Titled 'Due North', the proliferation of pinstripes nodded at the longitudinal lines that run north-south on a map - and it has certainly been a while since we've seen pinstripes look so good.
The ordered lines descended into relaxed chaos, culminating in one of our favourite looks on the night: An ever so subtle print-clash in an easy-going silhouette, the previously ordered pinstripe having now run into a memory of restrained tie dye.
If we continue with the ‘Due North’ aesthetic, it was unsurprising to see the inclusion of strap detailing, orangey-brown leather notes and a subtly glittered sheer black jumpsuit that suggested the starry night sky.
It was dreamy: At once nostalgic and yet forward thinking. All in all, we want it all.
