Striking one man show about sex-work comes to Adelaide Fringe.
Bleach by Dan Ireland-Reeves
Tyler Everett sells his body to hungry punters on a nightly basis. But on a regular working night, things are about to spiral out of control leaving Tyler questioning whether living in London is really worth the price of rent. Bleach is a darkly humorous, soul-jolting new one man show about sex, violence and city living.
Bleach won the Write for the Stage Award for Best New Writing at the Greater Manchester Fringe 2017 and was nominated for both the Pick of the Fringe and Grand Prix awards at Stockholm Fringe. This production comes straight from its Australian premiere in Sydney in 2019.
"Watch out for a revival of Bleach or, with luck, more solo work from actor Tom Crotty. The show is a mesmerising 60 minutes of darkly comic and deeply upsetting theatre." - Reviews by Judith
"Crotty's comfortable stage presence is contagious as he invites the audience directly into Tyler's world, building his history and intricate reality alone." - Night Writes
