A US university is to become the first educational institute to hold a course devoted to the life of Michael Jackson.
'Michael Jackson: The Business of Music' at Clark-Atlanta University will be taught by entertainment attorney, James Walker and directed at students wishing to get into the music industry.
“The goal is to help students who have an interest or future desire to work in the entertainment industry whether as an artist, attorney, business manager, accountant or other,” Walker told Vibe, “[and] to really provide my students with a comprehensive understanding of the music industry and the business mechanics involved.”
Walker wrote the book The Business of Urban Music in 2008 and runs a law practice out of Atlanta, Georgia.
